Designer Paula Ryan is known for her impeccable styling advice artfully dispensed over the years through her magazines, videos, TV appearances and seminar tours throughout Australia and New Zealand.

With her understanding of Women she saw the need for a range of comfortable, high quality clothing with stretch that could be the underpinnings of every woman's wardrobe.

Following a worldwide search for natural fibres that were breathable, long lasting, colourfast and high performance, three were chosen for their superior quality; NZMerino, Italian MicroModal and Italian Microjersey.

With the by-line "THE MAGIC IS IN THE FABRIC", the PAULA RYAN ESSENTIALS brand, in black and white, was launched in 1998 satisfying the criteria of durability through quality, simplicity and timeless design with acceptability across the age groups.

Styling includes every neckline shape, various sleeve lengths and a range of finished lengths, from tunic length to cropped at the waist. A variety of body shapes can be accommodated with the snug SLIM FIT option, the body-skimming EASY FIT or the LOOSE FIT for the fuller figure.

In 2002 the PAULA RYAN FASHION COLLECTION was launched to provide women with stylish seasonal wardrobe options that work alongside PAULA RYAN ESSENTIALS,to take them from day into evening, weekend to weekend and season to season.
