Product Description
A pair of Rose breasted Cockatoos (Cacatua Eos) perch on the rim of a reticulated Chinese cup and saucer. These smart Cockatoos have got their sticky beaks on the hoard of 16th and 17th Century jewels, uncovered in 1912 during an excavation at Cheapside in London. Known as the Cheapside Hoard, the collection of 400 pieces are now in the London Museum, apart of course from what these cheeky birds have managed to scavenge!
